Housing and Food

Main Site

Programs listed with a lodge or cabin  icon designate a main site camp. This style of camping uses our lodge and cabins for housing during the week. The lodge sleeps up to 36 campers and is used for our programs with young children. Cabins sleep up to 12 campers, share a central shower house, and are an awesome way to live in Christian community. Main site camps eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner served family style in our dining hall, and will share in a cook out during the week. More information about these facilities can be found on our facilities page.

Adventure Sites

Programs listed with a campfire icon designate camps in our adventure programs. Adventure sites at Gretna Glen include platform tents with cots or rustic cabins with bunk beds at the Ridge. Our adventure programs prepare and cook breakfast and dinner over the campfire and share the clean up responsibilities and lunch is served family style at the dining hall. Adventure programming uses shared experiences to build community and create lasting bonds.

Newcomer Dining Hall

Newcomer Dining Hall overlooks the meadow and lake area and is able to seat our groups comfortably. Our meals are served family style and provide for a well balanced meal during your stay with us. We can provide accommodations for dietary needs when notified ahead of time. Main site programs eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the dining hall and have one cookout each week. Adventure sites eat lunch at the dining hall and cook their own breakfast and dinner at their campsites. Sample menus can be found here.
