Go Wild! Day Camp

Day camp at Gretna Glen is an excellent way for kids to spend their summer outdoors. Whether it is one, two, or all eight weeks, the experience will have a lasting impact. Campers will spend their days swimming, fishing, boating, taking nature walks, learning fun songs, playing fun games, and making new friends. Each week of camp is a bit different as we create theme activities and bible discovery times that make each week and each day special. Day camp hours are 9:00-3:30, including one snack and lunch. AM extended day session is 7:30-9:00 (drop off any time) and PM Extended day is: 3:30-5:30 (pickup time at 5:15 daily).

 Our day camp programs are divided into two age categories: campers aged 5-8 (DCY codes) and ages 9-12 (DCO codes). Campers from each program will see each other throughout the day. However, for program design reasons, campers should be in age-appropriate groups. Each age category will also have 'family' groups, so group sizes stay small and age-appropriate. When registering for camp, please only request one 'bunkmate' near the same age as your camper.

Go Wild! Day Camp 

Go Wild! It's time to explore your wild side and connect to nature. This week is all about appreciating creation and learning more about our Creator. How many shapes do you see in the forest canopy? How long do you have to sit still for the forest to forget you're there? What does it feel like to pretend to be a bug? We'll spend our days answering these questions, exploring beautiful forest landscapes, and immersing ourselves in nature in our quest to Go Wild!
