Volunteer Information
If you have questions about serving at Gretna Glen and how to get started with the Volunteer Application process, please email camp@gretnaglen.org or call our office at 717-273-6525.
Step 1:
All potential Volunteers must complete a Non-Summer Volunteer Application at least 6 weeks prior to their week of service along with supplying 3 references.
Step 2:
Following the acceptance of the Volunteer Application our staff will reply via email with Step 2 details, which will include the required clearances and instructions on how to complete each one. All volunteers are required to have the following up to date and on file with our office prior to their service:
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check – Must be dated within the last year from when you will volunteer at Gretna Glen.
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance – Must be dated within the last five years of when you will volunteer at Gretna Glen.
- FBI Criminal History Record Check (Fingerprinting) - Only required from volunteers who have lived out of Pennsylvania in the last 10 consecutive years.
- Voluntary Disclosure Statement – Collected ever year.
