Campers wrapped up their week of Bible Discovery lessons talking about forgiveness, peace, and love. "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." -Romans 5:8
Due to the holiday weekend, camp is a little shorter this week. All of the overnight programs started their day with Bible Discovery then had their choice time. Today's choices included the foam slide, which was very popular! After a special lunch prepared by the Latino Commission, Latino Camp had FOHS (Full of the Holy Spirit) talent show. The overnight programs ended the day with an all camp closing on the benches before heading to dinner in the pool pavilion.
Day Camp youngsters started their day with some rec time, the Imagination Garden, boating, and Leave No Trace, while the older kids tested their skills on the climbing tower- some campers even chose to try climbing while blindfolded! After lunch the day campers had an afternoon of fun in the pool and on the foam slide before their snack, story, and hike.
We hope to see all of the campers back next year, or maybe even later this summer! You can also watch out website or follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on all of our events year round.
