This week Gretna Glen welcomes My Early Camping Adventure, Night Owls, Saddle Girls, Youth Blast, and Wilderness Adventure as our overnight programs, and welcomes Master Makers to day camp.

Today campers learned that Jesus' love for us and His gift of Living Water are freely given; there is nothing we have to do to receive them. "But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." -John 4:14

After Breakfast this morning all of the overnight programs jumped right into their first full day of camp. My Early Camping Adventure Spent time in the Imagination Garden and exploring nature before playing parachute games and having their Bible Discovery time. Night Owls started with Bible Discovery and then had a little rec time before Adventures of the Imagination. Saddle Crew Gals spent their morning at Adventures of the Imagination and then Bible Discovery. Youth Blast had low ropes (team building)  followed by Bible Discovery. Wilderness Adventure cooked their breakfast on the Ridge before Bible Discovery and Adventures of the Imagination. After lunch and rollover campers had choice time and a chance to visit the snackery. Choice time allows campers to swim, play basketball or gaga, go to the craft cave, or practice archery, fishing, and boating. Todays choice time also allowed campers to do their swim checks. After dinner My Early Camping Adventure enjoyed the foam slide and Bible Discovery. Night Owls had a special visit from Zoo America and then had a pool and foam slide party and will end their evening with a night hike and stargazing. Saddle Crew Girls made horse treats followed by a pool party. Youth Blast tested their knowledge with trivia and then a creek walk and a hike to Sunset Vista. Wilderness Adventure also enjoyed the visit from Zoo America  before learning first aid and having a pool party.

Day Camp started their day with morning worship and snack. They then played some get-to-know-you games. The younger kids then went to ZEEC and fishing and the older kids made Borax Ornaments. After lunch all of day camp played some water games. The younger campers then made a Tic Tac Toe game and had snack and small group time. The older kids worked on their team building skills at low ropes.
