81 degrees/sunny

In todays Bible Discovery time campers talked about how Jesus calls us to be good neighbors by showing mercy to others. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbor as yourself." -Luke 10:27

After breakfast this morning the Saddle Crew Girls headed off site for a day of horseback riding at Ironstone Ranch. My Early Camping Adventure  spent their morning boating and fishing followed by Bible Discovery and a craft. Night Owls started with a little rec time before Bible Discovery, climbing tower, and a craft. Youth Blast spent their morning at climbing tower followed by Bible Discovery and testing their skills on the personal challenge course. Wilderness Adventure cooked breakfast on the Ridge and then learned about directional skills and identification before their Bible Discovery time. After lunch, all of the programs on site had their rollover time followed by choice time. Today gaga, basketball, and nine square were very popular! During choice time Saddle Crew returned to camp and had some rollover time of their own. This evening after dinner My Early Camping Adventure had Bible Discovery while Night Owls tried out the personal challenge course and took a hike to high rocks. Saddle Crew had a hoedown and learned a few cool line dances. Youth Blast reached new heights at flying squirrel and Wilderness Adventure learned about the importance of leaving no trace. All of the programs came together to watch the staff preform in ROCK before their evening snack. Night Owls will be finishing their night with a moonlight adventure race, glow gaga and glow bowling. Saddle Crew, Youth Blast, and Wilderness Adventure are all ending their night with a bit of night gaga.

Day Camp started their day with morning worship and a snack followed by rec time. The younger kids then went to the Imagination Garden and got to make (and play with) playdough. The older campers made cloud dough. After lunch they all cooled off on the waterslide and pool before afternoon rotations. Younger campers then made cork snowmen and played on the playground and older campers had archery boating and fishing.
