Today campers learned that when we reach out to God, we are invited to the celebration at His table. "For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. So they began to celebrate." -Luke 15:24
Today started extra early for Saddle Crew, Youth Blast, and Wilderness adventure with a polar bear swim. After breakfast everyone had Bible Discovery followed by option time until lunch. 9-square and the craft cave were the most popular today. After lunch Grown Up and Me had their closing before heading out. The other programs enjoyed a last bit of rec time before their individual camp closings and time to pack. Wilderness Adventure had one last event with Ryan the Bug Guy. The day ended with the all camp closing and pizza.
Day camp began their day with morning worship, snack, and rec time. The younger campers had fun with playdough and the older campers went to the climbing tower and personal challenge course. After lunch they all beat the heat with the foam slide and pool. They then had time with Ryan the Bug Guy before wrapping up for the day.
We hope to see all of our campers again next year, but until then follow our social media accounts and website to stay up-to-day with all of Gretna Glens events year round.
