Today was trip day for Youth Blast. They ate an early breakfast then loaded the bus for a day of fun and water rides at Camel Beach. They didn't arrive home until it was time for bed. Gaga & Games Galore started their day with Bible Discovery then split between boating games and archery games. Music Mania had Bible Discovery before music and drama. Musical Encore had worship and music after breakfast and then tried out the wild woozy and flying squirrel at high ropes. Saddle Crew had Bible Discovery and then worked on their horse string art, finishing with a little rec time before lunch. This Afternoon most programs had some rollover before choice time. Musical Encore had time to work on their music and drama. Music Mania had a bit more music time at the end of choice time. After dinner Gaga & Games Galore, Music Mania, and Musical Encore played the all camp game and Saddle Crew had time for hangin' with horses. Gaga & Games Galore ended their night with some rec time and a campfire. Music Mania had their evening vespers and some discovery group time. Musical Encore had bag skits and a talent night followed by music by moonlight and a campfire. Saddle Crew hiked to sunset vista and ended their day with a campfire snack.
Day Camp began their day with morning worship, snack and rec time. The younger groups played in the Imagination Garden, explored ZEEC and went boating before Playing in the pool and waterslide. The older campers played with sponge fliers. After lunch the younger kids had their turn with sponge fliers, had story and a snack, and played with bubbles and chalk paint. The older kids spent their afternoon in the pool and waterslide then had boating, fishing, and archery.
Breakfast: French toast, turkey sausage, hot and cold cereal, fruit
Lunch: popcorn chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy, salad bar
Dinner: hamburgers and hotdogs, macaroni salad, chips, salad bar
