All About Animals Day Camp
Day Camp at Gretna Glen is an excellent way for kids to spend their summer outdoors. Whether it is one, two, or all seven weeks, the experience will have a lasting impact. Campers will spend their days swimming, fishing, boating, taking nature walks, learning fun songs, playing fun games, and making new friends. Each week of camp is a bit different as we create theme activities and bible discovery times that make each week and each day special. Day camp hours are 9:00-3:30, including one snack and lunch.
Extended Day: Our AM extended day session is 7:30-9:00 and campers may be dropped off at any time during that session. Our PM Extended day is 3:30-5:30 and campers may be picked up between 5:15 and 5:30. The Extended Day program includes an additional camp activity, offering more opportunities for fun and learning beyond regular hours.
Our day camp programs are divided into two age categories: campers ages 5-8 (DCY codes) and ages 9-13 (DCO codes). Campers from each program will see each other throughout the day. However, for program design reasons, campers should be in age-appropriate groups. Each age category will also have 'family' groups, so group sizes stay small and age appropriate. When registering for camp, please only request one 'bunk mate' in the same age category as your camper.

All About Animals Day Camp
Do you want to learn more about how animals thrive and survive? Are you curious about how bugs live or what happens to all the animals at night? Then you should join us this summer for All About Animals Day Camp! Campers will spend this week meeting and learning about animals up close! Farm animals, zoo days, and reptile experiences will keep this week exciting as we have visits from folks specializing in animal fun. Animal games, animal costumes, and more will make the week a zoo of our own!
