Heroes & Helpers Day Camp
Day camp at Gretna Glen is an excellent way for kids to spend their summer outdoors. Whether it is one, two, or all seven weeks, the experience will have a lasting impact. Campers will spend their days swimming, fishing, boating, taking nature walks, learning fun songs, playing fun games, and making new friends. Each week of camp is a bit different as we create theme activities and bible discovery times that make each week and each day special. Day camp hours are 9:00-3:30, including one snack and lunch.
Extended Day: Our AM extended day session is 7:30-9:00 and campers may be dropped off at any time during that session. Our PM Extended day is: 3:30-5:30 and campers may be picked up at 5:15 but not before as we use this PM session to take the extended day campers to do another camp activity.
Our day camp programs are divided into two age categories: campers aged 5-8 (DCY codes) and ages 9-13 (DCO codes). Campers from each program will see each other throughout the day. However, for program design reasons, campers should be in age-appropriate groups. Each age category will also have 'family' groups, so group sizes stay small and age-appropriate. When registering for camp, please only request one' bunk mate' in the same age category as your camper.

Heroes and Helpers Day Camp
Our world is full of heroes and this week we are going to focus on the heroes all around us. With special guests, and a focus on community helpers, we will dive into what a hero really is, and discuss how Jesus is the ultimate superhero.
Campers can expect to meet firefighters, police officers, doctors, teachers, and volunteers. Campers will also take time to give back to the Gretna Glen community and use their newfound powers for good!
