You don’t want to miss out on the fresh fun of summer with Summer’s First Burst! This full week program will include new and old favorites that pack in the fun in the woods and the sun. These campers should expect to play forest games, find critters in the pond, watch a movie under the stars, and play the first glow in the dark gaga game of summer 2025! Summer’s First Burst II campers will also have the summer’s first outdoor GLOW PARTY!

In addition, as one of our first overnight programs of 2025, these campers will be the first to experience R.O.C.K., All Camp Fun, and the 2025 overnight curriculum. Fresh out of staff training, and ready to put new and old skills to use, our counselors and volunteers will be buzzing with excitement to open overnight camp for the season! We can’t wait for Summer’s First Burst II!

 All Gretna Glen children and youth campers will have the opportunity to share in the camp experience filled with singing, Bible Discovery, worship, crafts, nature, swimming, boating, fishing, campfires, hiking, archery, sports, games, and much more. Each program is designed specifically to be age-appropriate, and specialized staff are trained to ensure a high-quality and well-structured program.

This is considered a “MAINSITE” program with housing in our cabins. Our cabins consist of bunk beds, and a changing area, and they utilize a modern Shower-house which was built new in 2018.

Gretna Glen is accredited by the American Camp Association. To earn accreditation, Gretna Glen complies with more than 300 health, safety and program quality standards. This accreditation is vital to the safety of our campers and guests while holding us to a high standard of excellence.
